- Shooting hours are 9:00 am to legal sunset
- Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction
- Keep your finger off the trigger, safety on, until ready to shoot
- Load only at the firing line and ready to shoot
- No one will handle a firearm for any reason while anyone is down range
- When anyone is forward of the firing line, all firearms will be vertical in racks or table notches, unloaded, magazines removed, action open. (Exception: Handguns must be in carrying case, unloaded, action open, magazine removed. Holstered handguns must be empty by may have action closed, magazine removed.
- Paper targets must be mounted on backers and hung from wires. Vertical target racks may be used with paper targets only at shorter ranges, but bullets must impact back berm.
- Plinker targets must be no more than 3 feet from back berm
- Plinker targets not previously apporved by the Board of Directors must be submitted for safety approval before use. Acceptable targets: Plastic pop bottles, pop cans, small metal silhouseets or spinners at the berm. Clean up is required. Bullet spatter and target fragmentation must be safety consideration.
- No targets will be posted on support posts or retaining wall
- Firing must be directed into rear berm
- No alcohol is allowed on the ranges
- Guests must be under direct supervision of a member at all times, must be on the same range. Junior shooters 17 & under are considered as guests.
- Ear protection required, eye protection recommended
- On the trap fields, shot size of 7 1/2, 8, 8 1/2, & 9 are allowed. No hunting loads of any kind. 3 dram maximum.
- Infraction of any of the above rules, or any generally accepted safety rule may result in dismissal from the club after reviewed by the board of directors.
