Sporting Rifle Leauge
Dates: May 10,17,24,31; June 7,14; July 5,12,19,26 (All Saturdays) Time: Firing Starts at 9 am approximately. Rules: All LSC range rules apply Rifles: Any safe rifle from rimfire to your prized elephant rifle. You do not have to use the same rifle for the entire league. Course of Fire: Sighters a sight in period of 15 to 20 minutes will be given, with unlimited sighters before shots for record start.
1. 5 shots for record from the bench position - 100 yards 2. 5 shots for record from the prone position - 100 yards 3. 5 shots for record from the sitting position - 100 yards 4. 5 shots for record from the standing position - 50 yards
Equipment: You may use bipods and or sand bags for the bench, Slings only may be used in the other positions . Depending on turnout classes may be assigned. Program Description: The Sporting rifle league is designed to get you out and shoot your hunting and or target rifle, test new handloads, and most of all have fun. It is a casually run league with a little bull and competition combined. The course of fire usually takes 1 hour at most. And two courses can be fired in the same day so every week need not be made, or you may shoot as much as you like. So blow of the dust and come out and figure out why you may have missed your buck or ground hog this year or come out and show us it is impossible to miss. You may mail an entry in or just show up on the league opener.
Cost: $25.00 Adult $10.00 Junior
Awards: In this league every participant will receive an award. Also depending on turnout there may be a yearly trophy.
